We had a lot of fun last weekend with Nana at the Zoo! We saw all sorts of animals that we never see, even though we visit the Zoo regularly. We even took the Zoo bus which we never do! It was a great day.
On Wednesday we met up with Pearce and Makenna (and their mom Joanna) and went to Balboa Park. We saw the koi fish in the pond and went to the botanical garden and then went to Owen's favorite spot: The Model Railroad Museum.
and on Thursday Owen and I went to Sea World where we met a tortoise who is a little bigger than our friend Terpy :
Yes, it's been a busy week --not to mention the fact that we have been out to dinner with friends almost every night. Owen has held up surprisingly well even though there was a touch of chaos at our restaurant table last night when Owen could not sit still ANY MORE and knocked his metal chair over against the concrete floor (he wasn't sitting in it at the time, it just got caught in his whirlwind energy vortex). It was, however, very very loud so I don't think we'll be going back to that restaurant any time soon...
Anyway, we've been keeping so busy because we will soon be heading off on a trip! Next Monday Owen and I will be flying to Kansas City to visit Dzia Dzia for a whole week..... we're all very excited! I'll try to keep everyone posted with our shenanigans!
