My camera wasn't always on hand this summer, but I did manage to get a few pictures of our family bowling day:
And yet, time kept on ticking and today rolled around at last: First day of School!

I have no pictures of my first day of school, but let me tell you that a long walk on the bay in the drizzling rain while listening to MY music on my Ipod and then returning home to a quiet house for uninterrupted work and chore time and shower time until lunch was quite possibly the most enjoyable morning I've had in, oh, about 8 years. So that's what a quiet house sounds like!
Elliot is going to a Montessori school for 1/2 day preschool, so I pick him up a little after noon. But seriously, after 8 years of being home with the boys and only having random babysitters and occasional mornings off, this 3 + hours a day to myself is going to take some getting used to!
