Owen is so amazing sometimes.

So Wednesday morning we were eating breakfast and Owen looked at me and said "Is the garbage truck coming to our house today?"

Now, that may not seem odd. Except for these three things:

1. The garbage truck always comes on Wednesday during breakfast.
2. As far as I know Owen had no idea it was Wednesday.
3. This week only -- because of the holiday (July 4th) -- the garbage service was delayed a day and was scheduled to come on Thursday morning instead.

So, how was he expecting it on the right day?

Here's another thing he's done recently... His preschool schedule since January has been Wed/ Friday mornings. Every preschool day starts with some songs for circle time. When we were on our vacation in Seattle, I noticed Owen singing his preschool songs and then realized that he was singing them ON WEDNESDAY MORNING and ON FRIDAY!!!!!! Not any other day, only on the days he normally would have been singing them.

Is this a normal ability for an almost three year old? It's a little freaky, but truly amazing at the same time. Weird.
