Is it really July 17th already?

Another busy week... Sorry I haven't had time to write. The most exciting news is that both Owen and Elliot had their doctor check-ups this week. Owen's 4 yr. appt went great. He went through the eye exam and the hearing exam with flying colors... He's still 75 %tile height and weight and is totally ready for preschool in the fall. We pulled his birthday art supplies out onto the back patio and he's been loving exploring his new tools. You can sort of see in this picture his penchant for sticking out his tongue when he's concentrating on something:



And, Elliot is 50%tile weight and 90%tile height!!!!!! The doctor said that we have a "tall one", but we knew that when we saw his feet the first day out of the womb. His toes are so long and lean.... he's already wearing 9-month pajamas and trying desperately to crawl -- and his teeth are so close to poking through. He has spent a lot of the last week with his hand stuffed in his mouth while he tries to sleep. Like this:




Anyway that all happened in the last two days. Other recent developments: Paul got a new job, we got a new car (!!!) and Owen went to his first week at his new Montessori school. I told you it's been busy!
