If you read the last post then you will understand why I am being punished with an unruly, defiant child today. AAAGH!!!!! Owen is by all accounts normally very easy to get along with, but today he is having a "Terrible Two" day. I completely understand that it is a result of his overstimulation and lack of naps over the past weekend, but that doesn't make it any easier in the moment when he is screaming and crying one minute and laughing the next -- and then back to screaming-- and then back to laughing again. Well, you get the idea. He's a little crazy today. Plus, he has probably yelled "No" to me more times today than in his entire life. Sigh.
Luckily he is sleeping it off a little right now. Let's hope he's in better spirits this afternoon!

Late update: Bad, bad cold has the Owen completely off his game. He's been sick for about 6 weeks straight with back-to-back colds...
