Sweet, sweet June
Around here we sometimes suffer from "June Gloom" because of the marine layer that can linger and linger... and linger... making California cold and damp and very un-California-y. This year in mid-May we had a few cold and rainy days, but June arrived with a flourish and we've been celebrating with the requisite summertime items:

Enjoy summer with your utmost!!! We in Michigan have to do it ever so quickly because before we turn around it will be gone. Today and tomorrow they say it is going to be warm---actually hot!! We are so glad that at least today and tomorrow we won't be shivering!!! Enjoy it kids. It is all blessings from our Good Lord above! What adorable pictures!!!

Yes, requisites of summer (almost summer anyway). And aren't they fun? Great pictures - Hammock swinging, tree climbing and sucking watermelon juice from the melon bowl! That's a good start toward a good summer. GG
