Elliot has perfected some words that can make me forget his "terrible twos" which seem to have started before he reached the ripe old age of 1 and a half.
Just hearing him calling out "Mom-meeeeeee!!!!!" absolutely melts my heart and makes me smile. He calls it out so clearly and so happily. I just love it.
He's also saying "Do!!!!" when we ask him if he wants to do something ( as in Do you want to read a book with me? "DO!!!!!!!" or Do you want a banana? "DO!!!!") and he usually accompanies the word with an over-vigorous nod of the head and a smile.
Also, he's developed a small ritual in which every time he climbs up over something like a wall or a chair or a couch, he pops his head over the obstacle and shouts out "HI OH-EEEEEE!" (which is his way of saying Owen). Even if there's no Owen in sight he'll pretend there's an imaginary Owen there and yell out "Hi Oh-EEEEEE!!!!" while waving. It's pretty darn adorable.
Now if he can just stop with the temper tantrums.

Elliot, you got mom figured out and you know what makes her heart all soft and squishy! Just don't forget it it comes in handy pretty often, even when you are a teenager!! I bet Owen loves it when you play with him too! Keep up the good work, Elliot, we love you a whole big bunch. I can see you will make your own way in the world!!
